NESW online community. In addition to in-person events, NESW offers several social media platforms to share information. Members are invited to post events and links of interest at http://facebook.com/NEsciWriters. Facebook posts are automatically tweeted through @NEsciWriters. Members can share information through the NESW-talk email list. The official NESW web page is hosted by WordPress at http://neswonline.com.
NESW announcements. The NESW steering committee sends emails about jobs, freelance opportunities, internships, events, volunteer needs and membership renewals. Email notifications are sent to the email address entered in a member’s online profile at http://nesw.memberclicks.net. To receive notifications, join NESW at http://nesw.memberclicks.net/join.
Online membership directory. This directory at http://nesw.memberclicks.net is provided to members on the understanding they will use it only to contact other members for professional purposes. Individuals and organizations may not use the information in this directory for promotional purposes, such as unsolicited news releases. NESW intends to take any abuse of this good faith seriously. The membership directory includes each member’s name, email, web site, title, company, city, state, business phone, and specialty areas, unless a member chooses to restrict access to this information.
Update your profile. Move? Change jobs? New email address? You may now update your email address and other information online by going to http://nesw.memberclicks.net and clicking on the “My Profile” button at top right. Most of this information is private. Other members can only see these fields:
- name
- web site
- title
- company
- city
- state
- business phone
- specialty areas
You may further restrict access to any of these fields clicking on the “Hide Field” box to the left of each field. Make sure to click the “Save” button at the bottom of the page after you make any change.
