American Geophysical Union’s David Perlman Award for Excellence in Science Journalism. The Perlman Award recognizes outstanding news reporting on the Earth and space sciences produced under deadline pressure of one week or less. The award consists of a $5,000 stipend and a plaque, and we now accept entries electronically (only), greatly simplifying the submission process.
