Pizza with a Scientist: Melding chemistry and physics with Jane Lipson

How does a biological cell resemble salad dressing? Why is a glass not crystalline?

Join your fellow New England Science Writers for a s—mall-group discussion with Dartmouth professor Jane Lipson about using chemistry and physics to understand the world around us. Lipson, a 2017-18 fellow at the Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study , is a “physical chemist” — someone who works at the boundary between areas traditionally classified as physics and chemistry.
